Our creative process starts with inspiration. We draw from Gothic literature, folklore and alternative art to imagine candles that are not only beautiful but also tell a story. Each design begins as a concept, often sparked by a legend or a piece of classic literature. This is how our best selling design, The Highgate Vampire, was born. It is a candle inspired by the legendary tale of the Highgate Vampire, combining mystery, history and dark art into one striking piece.

The scent of each candle is carefully matched to its story and artwork. We experiment with different combinations of organic oils to create aromas that evoke the mood and setting of each narrative. Our signature blend of saffron and oud, for example, is designed to transport you into a world of intrigue and warmth.

Once we have the story and scent, our creative director works on the artwork. Each candle features original designs that reflect the theme and emotion behind the product. We use locally sourced glass jars and organic soy wax, ensuring that every detail aligns with our values of quality and sustainability.

Every candle is hand poured in our London and Wales studios. We follow strict processes to ensure consistency, safety and purity. My background as a pharmacist and medic means we never compromise on transparency or ingredient quality. Each batch is tested to make sure it meets our high standards before it reaches your home.
